Meizu History

Chinese manufacturer of MP3 players and mobile phones.

The company started its activities in 2003 with the production of MP3 players. MEIZU products always differed quite good quality and functionality, allowing it to be quite successful.

But the most famous as a manufacturer of mobile phone maker MEIZU M8. The fact that the device is considered to be the most successful clone of the famous iPhone (in fact, it's even got a derisive nickname - iClone). Chinese manufacturers often do strictly follow the policy of total copy.

Powered MEIZU M8 running its own operating system development (Meizu OS), written on the basis of thorough redesigned Windows Mobile.

If you dig deeper, it becomes clear that the mobile phone MEIZU M8 - a unique phenomenon, when a copy is superior to the original. In some aspects, the Chinese unit is equipped with much better iPhone. Which is puzzling - why the Chinese, having sufficient knowledge and abilities (by the way, the build quality MEIZU M8 on top) followed the path of piracy, taking up the popular device cloning? On the one hand, it provided them with a certain share of popularity, on the other hand, once again confirmed the conventional wisdom that the Chinese, except on piracy, nothing else can not. Most likely, the MEIZU in the future will begin to develop its own model, unique design. But their reputation they still raised questions. However, in China their products are very much in demand. Yes, and not only there - in the network there is more than one dozen MEIZU M8 fans sites.

The company's headquarters is located in Guangdong, China.
