Garmin Smart Watches Review

Some GARMIN Smart Watch Manuals PDF are above the page.

The segment of smart watches is becoming increasingly important for various electronics manufacturers. One of the leaders of this trend is Garmin, which introduced not only the top line of Garmin Fenix 3, but also various products of the Vivo series (vivofit 2, vivosmart, vivoactive), which are bracelets that allow you to count physical activity.

So far, these products have little technological breakthrough innovations (this applies not only to Garmin). Apparently, there is no special promotion strategy for manufacturers of such devices, for now they are trying to find something that will interest the mass market.

Garmin, in fact, is not new to the production of devices that can be worn on the body. The company sold its Forerunner GPS watches before the concept of “smart watches” was invented. This sports watch has already offered a bundle with other electronic devices, while other manufacturers have not even thought about it.

The mainstream in the production of smart watches are, of course, a variety of fitness watches or bracelets. Garmin in 2015 offers several models of this plan.

Garmin vivoactive device in terms of design, of course, looks like a brick, but this thing offers the user a variety of physical activity meters, GLONASS GPS, Bluetooth 4.0. With this watch you can even swim - and this is a good advantage. Garmin vivoactive costs $ 249 - $ 299.

Almost 2 times more expensive are the Garmin Epix. This watch is a travel tool that has, besides standard things, an altimeter, a barometer and a compass. This piece contains onboard 8 GB of memory, which allows you to download the entire world map. So, if you find yourself without the Internet, then with Epix navigation will not be a problem. By the way, the matter is not only in the absence of the Internet - such watches can be used when roaming is too expensive. The price is $ 549- $ 599.

Another model from Garmin - Garmin Fenix 3 - has all the classic features of a smart watch, a good design, 100 meters of water protection and a powerful battery (16 hours in GPS navigation mode and about 3 months with simple use as a watch.

Will this watch be the “smart watch killer from Apple”? Probably not. But such devices will definitely press the so-called training and travel hours (like the Casio ProTrek). They have similar features plus GPS, applications, and connect to a smartphone. True, they are more expensive. Garmin fenix 3 will cost $ 499- $ 549.
